Carpet Tips

Almost every spot can be removed if taken care of immediately. The longer the spill is allowed to dwell on the carpet, the more chance there is of permanent discoloration. Some spots and spills require the professional equipment, cleaning solutions, and skills of a professional carpet cleaner for proper removal. Repeated attempts to remove the spot may set the stain or cause permanent damage.

The following cleaning solutions and supplies may be useful in spot and stain removal.

1. Classic Carpet Care Spotter

2. Ammonia

3. Vinegar

4. Mild detergent (1 cup water to 1/2 tbsp. detergent)

5. Non-flammable dry cleaning solvent

Spotting tools: Absorbent white towels, sponge, agitation tool.
